CRC0721460CFANO
Defendant sold several different narcotics to undercover police officers over the course of several different transactions.  He was facing a 15 year minimum mandatory prison sentence for selling over 14grams of hydrocodone to an undercover officer during one of the transactions.  After going through a drug treatment program and getting his life back on track, his attorney, Michael J. Boyle, Esq. was able to convince the State Attorney to allow him to plea to a non jail disposition and drug offender probation for 3 years.

CRC0723250CFANO
Defendant was accused of being the mastermind behind a set up where four armed individuals coaxed an unsuspecting person into an alley and robbed him at gun point, while also beating him severely.  Because this defendant had just been released from prison on unrelated charges in the past 3 years, he was designated as a “prison releasee reoffender” or “PRR”.  This “PRR” designation meant that the lowest permissible sentence that a judge could sentence the Defendant to was the rest of his natural life in prison.  After hiring Michael J. Boyle, Esq. he brought in a team of private investigators to go out on the streets and find independent witnesses who were in the area that evening and who were able to give statements which tended to contradict the State’s case.  After obtaining statements from these witnesses, Michael J. Boyle, Esq. provided this information to the State Attorney and as a result was able to negotiate a resolution to this case which allowed the Defendant to plea to a 5 year sentence.

CRC0727804CFANO
Defendant was being chased on his Harley Davidson motorcycle by police when he turned into a hotel on the beach and drove out onto the boardwalk.  He fled down the boardwalk until he ran out of pavement.  The Defendant then turned the motorcycle around and headed back at the officer who was now on foot.  Defendant was accused of trying to run the officer over with his motorcycle and the Defendant was ultimately tackled off of his motorcycle and arrested.  After hiring Michael J. Boyle, Esq. the state agreed to reduce the two most serious charges and allow the Defendant to plea to a non jail disposition involving probation.

CRC0811225CFANO / CRC0708218CFANO
Defendant was on probation for Felony Possession of Zanax and Possession of Marijuana.  He was stopped in his vehicle for speeding and thought to be DUI.  He was arrested and police found a pound of Marijuana; 9 Zanax tablets; and two loaded handguns under the driver’s seat along with nearly $4,000 in cash.  The Defendant faced a maximum sentence of 22 years in prison/jail for all these offenses.  Michael J. Boyle, Esq. was able secure a plea deal where the Defendant was charged with only one of the two handguns, the state lowered the Marijuana charge from Possession with Intent to Distribute to simple possession of more than 20grams. Then the Defendant was allowed to plea to all remaining charges for a non jail disposition.  He received a Withhold of Adjudication (No Conviction) on all felony charges and 2years of probation.

CRC07-18462CFANO
Defendant was found with over three grams of liquid oxycodone in there possession.  Defendant was arrested for Felony Possession of Controlled Substance.  During the State’s investigation, Michael J. Boyle, Esq. was able to provide additional information that ultimately persuaded the State Attorney’s office to reduce the charge to a misdemeanor count of Possession of Prescription Medication without a Prescription.

CRC07-08382CFANO
Defendant was stopped for driving a vehicle with an expired registration.  Defendant consented to a search and was found to be in possession of Methadone (felony charge).  After hiring Michael J. Boyle, Esq., the Defendant was able to have his felony charge reduced to a misdemeanor charge of possession of a prescription medication without a prescription.

CRC06-19118CFANO / CRC06-19117CFANO
Defendant was arrested for trafficking in cocaine (10.1 ounces) and MDMA (ecstasy) (220 pills).  When Michael J. Boyle, Esq. was hired onto the case, the Defendant was facing a 7 year minimum mandatory prison sentence on the cocaine and 3 year minimum mandatory on the MDMA.  After the State Attorney’s office investigated potential problems involving constitutional search and seizure issues in the case, the all charges were dropped against the Defendant and he was released from custody.

CTC0829721MMANO
Defendant was stopped for having a break light out, and the officer requested consent to search.  Officer found a small cigar tube with a small amount of marijuana inside.  Defendant was charged with a 1st degree misdemeanor for possession of marijuana under 20 grams.  Attorney Michael Boyle filed motion to suppress the marijuana that was found, based upon the unlawful stop of the vehicle.  Prior to the hearing on this motion, the State Attorney dropped the charges against the defendant.

CRC0822587CFANO
Defendant was arrested after passing a forged and stolen prescription at a pharmacy.  Defendant was in possession of a trafficking amount of hydrocodone and was facing a 25year minimum mandatory prison sentence.  After extensive negotiations with the State Attorney, the Defendants charges were reduced to simple possession and the minimum mandatory was avoided.  Defendant received drug treatment and three years of probation.  Defendant was also allowed to receive a withhold of adjudication, meaning that there would be no formal felony conviction.
